A dated refresh landed on July 31, 2026 as `deepseek-ai/DeepSeek-V4-Flash-0731` — still MIT, still 48 safetensors shards, but 304B total rather than 284B, and it picked up 156K downloads in its first days. Treat it as the current checkpoint of this same entry, not a new model. Unsloth dynamic GGUFs at `unsloth/DeepSeek-V4-Flash` (early community quants mishandled the MoE router — use Unsloth's). Ollama tag `deepseek-v4-flash` exists but practical only on workstation rigs. vLLM + multi-GPU is the cleanest production path. DeepSeek API also exposes V4-Flash separately, often at half V4-Pro's rate; we could not verify a current published rate card for the 0731 refresh, so no cost-calculator row.
